PASTRY CHEF
We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef. We are a small team so you will be responsible for desserts, counter bakes and some breakfast items. You will work closely with the Head Chef to plan seasonal dessert menus. We cater changing daily set menus for breakfast and lunch every day to feed crews on photoshoots feeding up to 200 people a day. It is a fast-paced kitchen with large quantities of prep to complete.
Job role
• Hours are Mon-Fri and days start very early until mid-afternoon.

• Salary £32,000-£33,000 per annum
• You will understand the importance of food hygiene regulations and will ensure that all food items are handled, cooked and served to company specification in accordance with the Food Safety manual, HACCP and EHO directives.
What experience and personality traits do you need for this role?
• You will have experience as a Pastry Chef and a desire to learn, develop and progress within the company.
• You can work quickly, efficiently and are very clean and tidy.
• You will be able to communicate effectively with all members of the team and have strong organisational skills.
• We start from early in the morning (between 5-6am), so a positive attitude is a must!
